Benefits of Omega-3, Omega-6, and Omega-9 Balance

NIH/NLM-reviewed research shows that omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids each play distinct but complementary roles in human health, and maintaining a balanced intake is important for reducing inflammation, supporting cardiovascular and brain health, and modulating metabolic processes.

Ann's Fish Oil of Choice: Zinzino BalanceOil

Zinzino BalanceOil is my fish oil of choice. I previously worked for the pharmaceutical/nutritional company that invented the Soft Elastic Gelatin capsule — and was the first to encapsulate Omega-3 fish oil.

But I learned from the representatives of Zinzino that to encapsulate fish oil, the polyphenols have to be extracted — and that the manufacturers of fish oil capsules do not replace the polyphenols. (Recall that polyphenols provide anti-oxidant protection.)

Zinzino BalanceOil, in liquid form, also contains polyphenols. Zinzino has the results of over 1 million blood samples to prove that people who take their BalanceOil for at least 60 days have much improved Omega-3/6/9 ratios.
